Aaron Lupuloff serves as the senior executive director if the Gwinnett Public Schools (GCPS) Foundation. He is also a financial advisor who has been investing in real estate for over a decade. During 2007, his patience was tested as the real estate market dropped in value by 80 percent. Instead of hastily selling his investments like many others were doing, he hung on and waited for the market to make a comeback. He waited until 2017 and ended up collecting rent for all of the years in between, too.
Aaron Lupuloff loves his community, and he does everything in his power to improve it. He has been raising funds to improve educational offerings in his region for many years and loves working to raise the standards of the school system in Georgia. GCPS Foundation was created in 2006 as a charitable organization that offers financial assistance to a spread of educational programs. Lupuloff has also been working with Norcross High School and helped to put together the Norcross High School Foundation for Excellence. He has served the organization as its vice president, president, and treasurer.
In the past, Lupuloff has served as a managing director and finance advisor with Raymond James, Bear Stearns, and JP Morgan. He has learned that one of the best ways to stay productive and to encourage others is to keep an open line of communication. This goes for anyone Lupuloff works with or for. He feels that one of the other routes to success is to always do more than promised.
Aaron Lupuloff recalls when the NHS Foundation was first created, and he is happy to have been part of an organization that has been a benefit to the arts, education, and athletics. The foundation has been in existence for more than 15 years, and its success encouraged the founding of the GCPS Foundation. Lupuloff was recently asked to reveal the secrets to the success of these charitable foundations, and he started by praising the school system in his local region. He is a believer that successful school systems help to create a sense of community.
Aaron Lupuloff advises other leaders in his sector to never stop fighting for what they believe in. When he served as the vice president of strategy for a charitable organization, he never stopped planning for the future to ensure that it would stay around for future generations. The GCPS Foundation continues to invest in scholarships and also develops new leaders who will guide the future of humanity. When there is a need in the local educational system, the foundation is always there to offer its support.
Aaron Lupuloff has admitted that if he could travel back in time, he would work to not try to do everything by himself. He has learned the value of working with others and would definitely ask for more help. Looking towards the future, he expects GCPS to continue to adopt creative ways of raising the funds that are needed to fuel the school system of Gwinnett County.
